MECH CADETS Upload Droid

I had the pleasure to collaborate with Polygon Pictures on their NETFLIX adaptation of the amazing Mech Academy Yu comic book series from BOOM Studios. I was responsible for a diverse set of assets from ultra functional hero-character props to vehicles and world building objects.

The Upload Droid is an large part of the administrative staff at the Mech Academy. I really enjoyed being able to create my own version of a "background character" robot. There were so many inspirational movies I saw as a kid with some sort of semi silly robot companion following the main character around and I did my best to capture that feeling.
